Next week will see the BTMI team in Stockholm, Sweden to install the HLMSW and Zinfonia systems for the prestigious Scandinavian publishing house Gehrmans Musikförlag.
This is an exciting installation for us because it marks the FIRST site to be using the very latest ( and greatest) version of HLMSW (v8) and the first site with access to all of the advantages of the Universal Instrumentation Code (UIC) including:
- More accurate parts listings which are faster to enter
- The ability to share part listings with other HLMSW and Zinfonia users
- Automatic concatenated orchestrations (eg. 2 2 2 2 – 4 2 3 1 – strings) based on the parts in the set
- The possibility to display instrumentation lists in any language and convention
- The ability to properly search instrumentation lists
We expect that HLMSW v8 and the UIC will be available to existing HLMSW users before the end of the year.
